Directions:
The best, most efficient way to do this is to create a caramel apple making assemply line, meaning set up a layout of all the ingredients in the order you will use them. Seperate the cupcake trays individually so they are ready to use when you are done dipping the apples. Heat the caramel in a bowl and pour the nuts into another bowl for dipping the caramel covered apples in once they are ready. Peel the apples, however many you want. Use the melon baller to carve balls out of the apples. Once you have as many balls as you want to make, put them into a bowl. Drizzle lemon juice over them, make sure they all get doused, because that is what makes the caramel stick. One by one, dry the balls of the extra lemon juice with a paper towel. Then stick a posicle stick into the round part, there should be a flatter side, which is used for the bottom, stick them into the part that is not flat. Dip them into the caramel and twist until they are totally covered and smooth. let the extra drip off and then dip just the bottom into the nuts. Place each one into a cupcake sleeve, and you are done.
It takes about an hour for them to set. The caramel will harden and they will be amazing!
