I love cooking fish almost as much as I love eating it. Salmon is my personal favorite, so I wanted to experiment with it a little bit and this is what I ended up with. My husband and I literally just devoured them. Next time, I will double up the ingredients and make tons! Hope you enjoy!Ingredients:
Patties:
6 oz. canned salmon
2 tbsp mayo
1 egg
1 tbsp garlic salt
1/4 cup shredded cheese
1/4 cup of bread crumbs (I like to crumble my own from regular bread)
Sliders:
1/2 cup shredded cheese
mayo
lettuce
dinner rolls
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400*. Pour the canned salmon into a bowl. Add the bread crumbs. Then, in a small mixing bowl, combine the eggs and mayo and garlic salt and stir together. Add the egg mixture to the salmon mixture and stir it up until it is distributed evenly. Last, add the shredded cheese and stir. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking oil and form the salmon mixture into patties. This recipe yields about 4 patties. Place in oven to bake for about ten minutes. Then, using a spatula, flip them over and cook another ten minutes. Meanwhile, cut the rolls in half and spread a layer of mayo on BOTH sides, when making sandwiches, it is important to taste the flavor of the dressing in every bite. Then, add a salmon patty, a generous helping of shredded cheese and lettuce.
