Crock Pot Lasagna


Ingredients: 


1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion, I prefer white
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce or 1 large can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
lasagna noodles, uncooked


Directions:

Brown ground beef in a skillet. Add garlic and onion and cook for another minute. Then drain grease out. Return to heat and add water and tomato sauce and simmer for around 5 minutes. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the parmesan, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Once the meat has simmered, spread 1 cups worth across the bottom of the crockpot. Then add a layer of noodles. It is okay to overlap them a bit to fit into the crockpot. Then, cover noodles with half the cheese mixture. Then another layer of meat, make sure to cover the cheese. Then more noodles. Then, a layer of cheese, and last, a layer of meat sauce. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours. Sprinkle some mozzerella over the top and cover for 10 minutes to allow it to melt. It's ready!
